Flowers

Even though we've had cold weather and a few frosts, the flowers in our garden are still beautiful.

Fall in Tennessee

The autumn colors are beautiful this year!

The rest of the pictures were taken at Shiloh Park on Saturday.
"O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker."

Our Trip to Niagara Falls, Part 3

Our last day in Canada we toured the city of Niagara on the Lake, about 20 minutes from the falls. It is a quaint little town full of old-fashioned shops.
This man was making mint-chocolate chip fudge on a marble counter.
Mr. Berry bought some fudge to share!
The autumn leaves were just gorgeous! We had never seen so many different and vibrant colors!
In this part of Canada there are hundreds of acres of vineyards and orchards. We stopped at a vineyard that had recently been harvested.
Mr. Berry picked a few bunches of grapes that had been left ... ... which we enjoyed!
The Illumination of the Falls
After dark, lights are turned on the falls so that they can still be seen. The lights change from white to a rainbow of colors.

Our Trip to Niagara Falls Part 2

We spent the second day in the city of Toronto, about 2 hours from Niagara.
One of our stops was the Casa Loma Castle, which we toured. The tiny people in the photo are Emily and Mama Flo! : )
We took a one-hour cruise around the Toronto Islands in this ship, the Oriole.
This is the Toronto skyline from the ship.

That evening we rode the train back to Niagara.
Dinner at Betty's Restaurant
Another view of the falls ... ... and some seagulls! There were hundreds of them around the falls. Seeing Niagara Falls in person reminded me of Psalm 8.
"When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained ...
...What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!"
