Back to Tennessee...

My (Rebekah) time in S.C. was wonderful! I enoyed every minute of it!!!
I felt sad to see it come to an end (it seemed so short!), but I was delighted that Samuel and his parents could come and spend a few days with us!
We drove back to Tennessee on October 25.
Before we left that morning, Samuel spent time playing the violin again. On the way back, we stopped at a rest area for lunch...

...and for pictures...

Back at home, with SamuelSamuel got to feed the ducks, visit the chickens, play with the kittens and dog, wade in the creek, and we spent lots of time riding on the 4-wheeler. Samuel loved it

Now that he's gone back home, I really miss precious Samuel!

More Photography Practice

We recently took some pictures of the Heath family at Shiloh National Military Park. We had a whole lot of fun and it was good practice for us. Thank you to the Heaths for letting us experiment with them!
Here are some of our favorite shots

Rebekah and Samuel

Rebekah is having a great time in South Carolina! Samuel's mother sent us these pictures this morning.

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Rebekah is in South Carolina for a couple of weeks, visiting her little friend Samuel. This picture of them was taken this past summer at the Joni and Friends camp.We sent the new camera with Rebekah, so we haven't taken many pictures this week. We are so spoiled by our new camera that we don't like to use our old ones anymore. It's no fun to take pictures with them!
Last night we attended a campaign rally in Adamsville.
The best photo of the night ~ William and Walker DennisThe crowd was so large we had to use an overflow room.
Our Lt. Governor, Ron Ramsey, hosted the fish fry and was one of the speakers. Bob Shutt, Dolores Gresham, and Vance Dennis also spoke.

Some of us played background music while everyone arrived and got their food

We cleaned out our stove pipe last week.

The view from inside ~ The soot is not getting on the wall like it looks, but falling into a bucket on the floor. A better view from inside ~ David looking down the pipe from the roofDavid took a few pictures from the roof.In this one you can see Sarah making campaign calls for Vance Dennis from the swing!

Six days after we planted our grass seed we got four inches of rain!

It looks best from a distance! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This little field was so full of weeds that we decided to burn it! David kept all the little fires going. We hope we will not have as many weeds here next year!
