The Lewis Edition: The rest of August and September

I got to go spend a day with this sweetie and her Mama!

Mommy and baby

"Roly-poly pudding"!

Deb wanted my help with a project.
Practice ...

All finished!

She's awake!!!

SO sweet the way she looks up at you! 💖

The view from Deborah and Daniel's porch. Caitlyn and I enjoyed
being outdoors in the warm sunshine while Mommy got some rest.

And she's asleep again!

So much preciousness in that little face!!!

Russell's 5th graders the day they got their instruments.
There was a lot of excitement. :)

Learning to hold the instrument

Rest position

Another project ...

... finished!

A bench for our balcony!
Thanks for the birthday money, Daddy and Mama!
We've enjoyed it so much already!
(In fact, I am here right now, working on this blog post! ;))

Pretty flowers, a reminder of the Word of God
that lives and abides forever!

These colors made me smile!

Multi-tasking at its best: my husband doing his warm-ups
while watching a (muted) football game! 😂

First concert of the season!!!
"The Music of James Bond" with the Marshall Symphony Orchestra.
This is an annual outdoor tent concert which the community looks forward to
and enjoys with great enthusiasm!

It's fall, y'all!!! :)

I've been volunteering at Buckner one day a week,
assisting the staff in the foster care department with filing,
proof-reading and putting together binders and packets.
It's a lot of fun!

Russell had a weekend off, and we decided to go see Caitlyn!
(Err, I mean, Caitlyn and her parents! ;))

We enjoyed getting together with some dear friends at
Deborah and Daniel's house Saturday night.

L to R: Esther and Corrie, Leigh and Zachary, Caitlyn and me!

We camped at our usual campsite :) on Lavon Lake.
Glorious sunset!!!

We thought this hammock/tent was pretty neat!

Fall sky!

That's all for now!

for his mercy endureth forever." Psalm
