Yesterday our church had a picnic at our house.
Daddy, Mr. Poole, and Mr. Kirk grill the hamburgers and hot dogs.

...while the younger children had an obstacle course relay.
They started by crawling through a tire...
...then carried a water balloon on a long spoon.
The younger ones were allowed to hold the balloon while they raced. :)
Hopping across these logs was also part of the obstacle course.

The water balloons were a favorite among the children. The temperature was in the upper 90's.

Oh, it all looks like so much fun -except maybe the upper 90's! It's around 84 here today and we're all melting! How sweet fun and fellowship can be!
