Summer Days

We've had a lot of blackberries this year, so we've been trying new blackberry recipes. :)
Amanda and Sarah made blackberry ice cream! It was delicious!

  1. I have a question. I noticed you were canning on a flat burner stove. Have you had any problems with this? I was told not to even try it but I know you all do a lot of canning. Everything looks so nice down there!

    This is our first summer to can on a flat top stove (our old stove died a few months ago) but the owner's manual didn't say not to can on it. We did have it trip the breaker twice this week while we were canning, though, but both times we were using 2 or 3 burners and the oven all at the same time...
