The Wahlquists' Visit

Last weekend we enjoyed a visit from the Wahlquist family.  With the exception of Elisha, who visited us recently, they hadn't been here in over 3 years, and it was really nice to get to spend some time together again!

On Saturday morning most of us went to the Flea Market together.

The guys' group meets up with the girls' group...

...and we discuss where to go next.

The Tennessee River is the destination decided upon.
Heading down to the river, Stephen runs to catch up with the big boys.

We love the Tennessee River!  The scenery is beautiful, and the rock formations are so interesting.

This rock looked like a perfect seat...

...so Deborah W. tried it out.

That evening we watched some old home videos of times our families spent together years ago.  It was fun to see how much everyone had changed.

We are grateful for the many years of friendship we have enjoyed with the Wahlquists!

  1. We enjoyed our trip down your way this last week! We were in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area. Such beautiful country!! It was hard going home to six inches of snow on the ground!
