Christmas Concert

Our cousin, Amy, took pictures for us during our family's Christmas concert on Saturday.
The Christmas Festival
-front row- Sarah, Emily, Deborah, Rebekah, Amanda, Anna, and Melissa -back row- Mama, David, Daddy, and Jonathan

Amanda and Rebekah played "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear" and "He is Born" on the harp and flute.
The girls singing "Do You Know the Christ of Christmas?" -Anna is at the piano.
Melissa playing "O Holy Night" - Anna is turning pages for her.
Amanda, Anna, Daddy, and the boys playing "Trepak" from the Nutcracker Suite
Sarah (hammered dulcimer), Jonathan (guitar), Deborah (fiddle), Amanda (mandolin), David (banjo), and Anna (guitar) played three songs on the mountain instruments - "Go Tell It on the Mountain", "The Little Drummer Boy", and "Jingle Bells".
Daddy announces a song.
In the audience, Nathaniel and Allie listen and watch attentively. Aren't they cute!

  1. The pictures are so pretty. I sure wish that we could have been there. Your dresses are beautiful and we already know how beautiful you must have played and sang.
    We are already homesick and this being Christmas only serves to make it worse.
    Love having your blog, we can catch a bit of our friends back home almost any time.
    Your entire family is such a blessing to so many people, including us.
